Later, he lives through one of the darkest eras in American history, and makes a bold decision that changes him and and the story forever.


THIS COPY (shown below) was hand signed on the title page by Barbara Kingsolver at her office. It is a new, unread copy opened only for signing and comes with a certificate authenticating the signature. Published in May, 2009 by Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins.


BARBARA KINGSOLVER (pictured below from our Wall of Fame) is an award-winning author whose novels are always beautiful written and full of stunning prose. Before her time as a writer, she worked as a biologist, and only started her fiction career when she won a a short story contest in a local newspaper.
