TREEBORNE is the story of Janie Treeborne, the caretaker of an orchard in the small Alabama town of Elberta, which finds itself under threat from outsiders. Janie responds the only way she knows how: by telling the stories of her family, both the wonderful and the heartbreaking.

CALEB JOHNSON (pictured below from our Wall of Fame) is an Alabama native and a graduate of the University of Alabama. His mentors are two of America's finest writers, Rick Bragg and Brad Watson.
