MACHINES LIKE ME is set in an alternate London of 1982, where the world has become even more modern and advanced than our world today. A young man decides to purchase Adam, one of the newly created androids that have hit the market, and with his neighbor (and lover) Miranda, they design Adam's personality. Soon, a love triangle develops between the trio, and they all must confront the moral and ethical consequences of their world's technological progress.
