REUNION BEACH is a moving and warm tribute to Dorothea Benton Frank - known to her friends and readers as "Dottie". In honor of the legendary author's passing in 2019, several of her famous writer friends have contributed their work to combine for a loving keepsake. Prominent among the stories is Patti Callahan's The Bridesmaids, featuring five best friends reuniting and sharing memories.
THIS COPY (shown below) was hand signed by Patti Callahan on the title page at the store. It is a new, unread first edition opened only for signing and comes with a certificate authenticating the signature. Published in April, 2021 byWilliam Morrow, an inprint of Harpercollins.
PATTI CALLAHAN (shown below from our Wall of Fame) is a writer's writer. She's published seventeen books, including many New York Times best-sellers, but this Homegirl (she lives in Mountain Brook, Alabama) is usually present when a visiting author comes to town. She supports the sisters and brothers of her craft and frequently promotes their books more heavily than her own. She is definitely the "Miss Congeniality" of the trade, and one of the most popular in the business. It is appropriate that Patti sign this tribute as the last event we hosted for Dear Dottie was at Patti's home. Thank you Patti Callahan for signing our books.
