LINCOLN IN THE BARDO won the Man Booker Prize as the best English language work of fiction. It is George Saunders' first novel, and a unique look at the tragedy of President Abraham Lincoln's loss of his young son Willie. The format and story line is displayed in a form invented by the brilliant Saunders.
