Alabama Booksmith

Ben Erickson grew up in Mobile and now lives in Eutaw. As an award-winning furniture maker, he has written numerous magazine articles and contributed to many books.

Ben's first book, A Parting Gift, was originally written by a father to his son upon his high school graduation. It swept the nation and was selected by the independent booksellers of America as a Book Sense title. We readers are fortunate that Ben Erickson put down his lathe long enough to pick up his pen and construct this book.
