Alabama Booksmith

In 2005 this fantastic new voice burst onto the literary scene with gods in Alabama, a #1 Booksense pick that was "the kind of book you hate to finish but can't wait to pass on to friends" (Cleveland Plain Dealer). Her second novel, Between, Georgia, was another Booksense #1. Joshilyn's latest titles are The Girl Who Stopped Swimming and Backseat Saints.

Joshilyn Jackson is a native of the Deep South, a former actor and award-winning teacher, and now a mother of two. Her work has previously appeared in TriQuarterly and Calyx, as well as the anthology ChickLit II. Jackson lives with her family outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
