Auction and Raffle for Signed Copies of To Kill a Mockingbird

We had two copies of To Kill a Mockingbird in a cloth slipcase, with original 1960 jacket design, ribbon marker, and bookplate signed by Harper Lee. One copy was in a drawing - for every $5 donation to the Alabama Humanities Foundation, an entry was put in a container. On August 11,   Harper Lee biographer Kerry Madden drew the name of Sandra Storm as the lucky winner.

The other copy was auctioned. We had on-line, phone and in-store bidding that was furious up until 6:00. The winning bid was by Tommy Poe. The amount is below. 100% of all proceeds from the auction and raffle went to The Alabama Humanities Foundation. We raised over $5,000. Thank you for your generosity! E-mail us if you'd like to be notified in case more of these very special editions with the bookplate signed by Harper Lee become available.

Final bid:              $2,300.00
